Coach Ryan Tucker
Mr. Tucker earned his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Virginia where he was on the Athletics Honor Roll from 2012-2014. He served as a volunteer student-teacher in the Charlottesville school system. He is a very accomplished student-athlete. Captain of the University of Virginia Varsity Men’s Lacrosse team and a two-time All-ACC Academic Team selectee, Mr. Tucker was selected 4th overall to the Boston Cannons in the 2015 MLL draft. In 2013, he earned the UVA Men’s Lacrosse Spirit Award and, in 2012, was on the United States Under-19 National Lacrosse Team that won the world championship in Turku, Finland. He is a graduate of the Gilman School in Baltimore where he played Varsity Lacrosse and Soccer. Mr. Tucker was selected as an Under Armour All-American player for three years in high school. He is a history teacher in the Middle School as well as a coach of soccer and lacrosse.
Fun Fact: I was once globally ranked in a few video games as a teenager, which just means I had way too much time on my hands.
Extracurricular Involvement: Form II Coordinator. Works with CEAC (Cultural and Ethnic Awareness Club) in the Middle School.
